Kerala science and technology museum also known as Priyadarsini Planetarium which established in 1984 but it created for the popularization of science and technology by kerala government. in 1994 priyadarsini planetarium functioning together with museum, the museum conducts a gallery more than 300 engineering items includes electrical, electronics,bio-medical and mechanical galleries, the gallery also provides the space for solar energy.

The museum includes two main mobile exhibition units that are the astronomy and science, astronomy unit called the astrovan, there are different sections in kerala science and technology museum, they are scientific center, talent development center, cv raman center for basic astronomy, astronomy classes, edusat talk back terminal, summer classes, smart class room, science laboratories, sound and light shows, musical fountain, laser shows, musical fountain, laser shows, motion simulator, electrical gallery, dam complex with hydel generation, robotic center, butterfly park, cactus park, astrovan and mobile science exhibition. inside the museum there is aplay park with 13 playing devices for the children.
