Munnar is awesome place in idukki district, it is commonly known as the Switzerland of kerala. in locally the name of this place means three rivers, the name is really meaningful because three rivers muthirambuzha, nallathanni and kundala are flowing surrounded to this place. situated 1600 meter above from the sea level. there are very interesting spots to view the beauty of idukki. this town is located along with western ghats. it well known for the tea estate and tea plantations, one of the biggest tea plantations in india. the forests surrounded the place is point of great population of wild animals.
